After shying away from a lot of color, I decided to pull the trigger and embrace red again. Labor day seemed like the perfect weekend to take it out for a spin and while I do enjoy the more casual aspect of a cutoff denim skirt, it’s a little on the casual side.
On the flip side though, I absolutely LOVE these shoes! There was a pair of Self Portrait ones from last year that I really liked, but missed out on. Didn’t want to have FOMO on these shoes so scooped them up as soon as they went on sale. They’re actually quite comfortable. So comfortable in fact that I wore them exclusively during a quick trip to Memphis last week. Crazy that I didn’t bring any flats right?
Also, let me pause and assess this shirt in these pics. I’ve owned it for a while, but it’s never made its way in front of the lens before. And wow! I look at least 30 pounds heavier in it and def won’t be wearing it on the blog again. Maybe it’s the angle, but I knew it was loose and flowy, just not this loose!
